Weird Photos

In 2000, I was painting a hallway in my Paris apartment with a roller-brush. As I began, I carelessly swiped my roller down the wall and to my astonishment, a funny little ghost appeared in the paint. He looked like a simple Hallowe’en ghost costume of sheet with 2 cut out holes for eyes. Or a Pacman baddie. It was such a serendipitous thing and my delight was tempered ever so slightly by the mournful realisation that I had no camera and had to continue painting…

I pretty much vowed then and there that I would never again be caught in such a chance encounter without a camera!! Years later, I was making caviar spaghetti and a little face appeared in the pot of caviar – by this time camera phones had been invented so I was able to avenge the little fake Parisian ghost.

All photos taken by yours truly, and haven’t been staged in any way.

Curios…
